When you're offered a top-up, we'll provide you with a repayment plan.
You repay your top-up over a number of instalments. This number depends on your pay cycle. If you're paid:
- monthly or four-weekly: 3 instalments
- fortnightly: 4 instalments
- weekly: 6 instalments
How much you would repay in each instalment depends on the size of your top-up.
Let's imagine you received a top-up of £250. Let's also imagine you're paid fortnightly. This means you would have 4 fortnightly instalments of £65, £65, £65 and £55 (the last instalment being the left over amount).
The due date for an instalment is your payday or nearest business day after that. You don’t have to do anything. We automatically collect instalments from your debit card on the due date.
What happens to my repayments if I get paid below average?
If your pay is below average by £25 or more, we will offer you a top-up and a brand new repayment plan. This plan will account for the new top-up plus what is left to repay from the previous top-up. If your pay is below average by less than £25, we will collect the instalment.
