What happens if I miss a CashWave repayment?

If you miss a repayment, we will contact you to try to resolve it. Here's what happens:

→ Your account will be blocked from taking a new CashWave loan until the

outstanding balance is cleared
​

→ Your credit file may be affected — we report to credit reference agencies, and

missed payments will be visible to other lenders
​

→ If the balance remains outstanding, we will issue a Notice of Sums in Arrears

(NOSIA)
​

→ If the balance is still not cleared, we may issue a Default Notice, giving you 30

days to repay before the default is registered on your credit file
